Conjunto Peña Blanca define su estilo musical como “Norteño Sax” o “Cumbia Norteña” ya que en sus interpretaciones están siempre presentes elementos muy norteños como el acordeón y la inclusión del saxofón Iván recuerda sobre la la historia del grupo, “Veníamos de California a tocar en un lugar que se llamaba El Sinaloense (hoy Las Palmas), ahí fue el primer lugar donde tocamos en Las Vegas, pero el surgimiento de lo que hoy es Peña Blanca fué en el Forth Cheyenne, cuando integramos a nuestro sonido el acordeón y comenzamos a fusionar nuestro estilo de cumbia norteña con saxofón, vimos como la gente nos respondía, y desde ahí hasta el día de hoy seguimos en ello, complaciendo a nuestro público y llevando esta propuesta musical a nuestras grabaciones”. Las interpretaciones de Conjunto Peña Blanca son alegres, divertidas, aunque tienen en su repertorio una gran cantidad de baladas románticas, “Lo que la gente prefiere es la música que los divierte, que los pone a bailar y es lo que más incluimos en nuestros shows y en nuestrso discos, ya que también a nosotros nos gusta divertirnos mientras tocamos”, añadió el entrevistado. “El Ascensor”, “Una Rosa y Una Espina”, “El Botecito” y “Las Preferidas” son algunos de los títulos de los discos de esta agrupación que se presenta con gran regularidad en los más importantes Nightclubs de la ciudad. Además de figurar en los carteles de los bailes más relevantes del género donde ponen a bailar a toda la raza y complacen las peticiones de su público con el cual sienten, “Un profundo agradecimiento, ya que por quienes asisten a nuestras present aciones y compran nuestros discos es que Peña Blanca existe”, agradeció el vocalista del Conjunto Peña Blanca. Para finalizar la charla con Onda Grupera, Valerio nos comenta un par de experiencias que recuerdan con emoción, “Recientemente nos enviaron un video realizado durante un evento masivo (Chica Caliente) en las playas de Manzanillo Colima, México, donde miles de personas cantan nuestra canción “Chukis Nice” fue bien emocionante”. Pero no todas las experiencias con sus fans son de reventón, ya que también en sus recuerdos mantienen viva la despedida que brindaron a una de sus más fieles seguidoras. “Una amiguita que siempre estaba en nuestros bailes falleció, recibimos una llamada de su mamá y nos contó que ella le había pedido que al fallecer quería que Peña Blanca le tocara “Ojos Mexicanos Lindos”, fuimos a cumplirle ese deseo a nuestra amiga y lo recordamos de una forma muy especial, una experiencia triste pero muy bella a la vez”, concluyó el artista. Este es el Conjunto Peña Blanca que alegra los momentos de su público al ponerle sabor a la bailada y cerca de su seguidores en todo momento.
