
PHOENIX ROCK BAND
Phoenix,
is considered the most authentic, energetic and entertaining
rock band in Las Vegas by locals and tourists alike, and for
good reason. Phoenix has been together since 2004 and in that
time has been the a headline act and one of the highest paid
bands at a strip location. Phoenix is comprised of an all
star line up with guitar legend Jimmy Crespo, world class
vocalist Tony Davich, drumming phenom Jamie Borden,
vocalist/bassist, Bobby Thompson, and multi instrumentalist
Jonathan Gilcrest.
Guitarist
Jimmy Crespo,
formerly of Aerosmith and the Rod Stewart band has also
performed with and or recorded with Meatloaf, Bon Jovi, Stevie
Nicks, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Brian Adams, Billy Squire, Sass
Jordan, and the list keeps going and going.
Vocalist
Tony Davich
was the lead male vocalist with Sheena Easton for over 10
years as well as being the starring lead vocalist in the mega
Vegas production show “Enter the Night”. Tony has shared the
stage with such greats as David Foster, Greg Allman, Cindy
Lauper, Hall and Oats and others. Tony has established
himself as the voice of Las Vegas thru his studio career
recording countless jingles and commercials in the
Metropolitan area.
Drummer
Jamie Borden
has recorded and performed with guitar legend, Mark Kendall of
the rock super group “Great White” , Mahavishnue Orchesta’s
violinist, Jerry Goodman, Bassist Bunny Brunel of Chick
Korea, as well as having international best selling
instructional videos, Drumming in the style of “Neil Peart”,
“Stepping it Up”, and “Advanced Drum Grooves” as well as being
the Musical director for several other best selling titles
released internationally
Bassist
Bobby (Momo) Thompson,
has been touring and recording with hit maker “Steel Breeze”
for several years prior to joining Phoenix. Bobby is also an
accomplished vocalist and guitarist that also holds several TV
and movie credits and shares the spotlight with Tony Davich
as frontman for Phoenix.
Multi-instrumentalist
Jonathan Gilcrest
has been a part of the recording and touring circuit for
several years, recording and performing with several
successful groups to include Tommy (Mugs) Cains “Radio Rage”
. Jonathans electric stage performance pegged by his
immeasurable talent’s on violin, saxophone, guitar, bass,
harmonica, flute, keyboards and vocals have added to the
overall presentation of Phoenix’s stunning and powerful
presentation of Classic and current hit music.
