DJ Precision (Rafael Moya) was born in Olancho, Honduras and arrived to the United States at the age of 4, Spanish being his first language. Precision started off his DJ career early. By the age of 14 he was on the decks spinning at local house parties and High School dances in Tacoma, WA focusing mainly on Hip-Hop (Audio only).
Once graduating from Lincoln High School in ’04, Precision attended Washington State University where he quickly became a very diverse DJ. He made his living during College spinning Audio/Video for local clubs, organizations, and mixed crowds which demanded a wide variety of music genres. He established a name for himself at WSU and successfully graduated in Mid ’08 with a Bachelors in Communication/Broadcast Production, quickly putting his education to work for him once graduating.
Now at age 25 (2011), Precision works for Rane Corporation in Mukilteo, WA as a Serato Scratch Live and Rane DJ Product Support Specialist. He is the youngest team member in the department, the only one who spins/remixes Videos and has been working for the company since graduating from WSU in ‘08. Precision has mastered the Serato software and the Rane hardware from all points. Dominating the program and hardware has allowed him to quickly push the limits and generate an exciting night of great custom Audio/Video content and pure entertainment.
Precision continues to rock his residencies in Seattle WA., dominating the Young Urban Latin American crowds with sets including custom Audio/Video remixes of Latin Rhythms/mainstream Hip-Hop vocals, creative bilingual MC skills, the latest Serato/Rane gear and the ability to feel his crowds. These key attributes have quickly made him one of the leading DJs in the Urban Latin Nightlife of Seattle, Washington and the U.S. as a whole.
