The packed crowd in a dimly lit upscale lounge somewhere in Philadelphia is in a total frenzy. After a week of networking with Major League Soccer professionals, the guests at the Score Sports Official After Party are more than ready to let their hair down. And they’ve come to the right place.
The DJ on the turntables has an unmatched ability to blend Latin American hits, R&B, Hip-hop and Rock…and each person at the party hears “that one song” they love. The energy in the crowd is palpable, and reaches a high as his voice comes over the microphone with his resounding catch phrase, “I love my job.”
In an industry that is often ego driven, DEEJAY 007 who was raised in southern New Jersey places his focus elsewhere…instead of on himself; he’s focused on an unrelenting dedication to total crowd satisfaction. The event is not complete until everyone in attendance enjoys the “007 Experience.”
His love of music comes from growing up in a family where the sounds of Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross and Earth, Wind and Fire filled the house regularly; and where sound business advice from hard working parents was given equal airtime. Combining those two aspects of his childhood led to DJ-ing as a hobby during high school in New Jersey, which quickly turned, into the career he now uses to support his family.
While most DJs focus solely on the local nightlife scene, DEEJAY 007 has taken his brand to new heights by bringing his craft to major lifestyle events like the Trenton NJ African American Culture Festival, the Philadelphia, PA Unity Day Festival and the Pantene/Tampax Total You Tour, nationally acclaimed multi-cultural festivals and events hosted by globally recognized brands like Adidas and Wal-Mart.
Well known as an entertainment powerhouse, DEEJAY 007, “The DJ That LOVES His JOB,” is also the DJ of choice for high level sporting events. He brings an intensity to the total fan experience that has been recognized by clients like Villanova University, 2014 Big East Swimming and Diving Championship, and most recently, by tennis legend, Billie Jean King who personally requested that DEEJAY 007 become the Official DJ for the Philadelphia Freedoms Tennis Team. He’s transformed the Philadelphia tennis scene, bringing a level of excitement and fan engagement to the game that has never been experienced before.
It’s clear that DEEJAY 007 brings his passion for music and his entrepreneurial spirit to several demographics, but there is one group that is particularly dear to his heart–high school students. Beyond providing entertainment for student based events at local schools, DEEJAY 007 also delivers his educational programs, where he blends music with a powerful message about self-awareness and educational success.
DEEJAY 007 truly “loves his job.” His tagline speaks to his authenticity while being the motivational statement that propels his brand each time he touches the turntables. His experiences performing in unique venues to unique clients, his ability to reach any demographic, and his total dedication to creating a memorable experience each time he performs have given DEEJAY 007 the skills to rock the crowd no matter where he is.
